There is no trick that guarantees a Schengen appointment. What helps is being ready when dates appear, and hearing about it quickly. These steps are for applicants in Pakistan.
1. Check who books for your country
Not every Schengen country uses the same service in Pakistan. For example, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, Hungary and Norway take applications through VFS Global, while Germany books appointments directly through the embassy and the Czech Republic has applied at the embassy directly since September 2023. Always confirm on the embassy's own website before you start.
2. Keep your portal account ready
- Create your account on the official portal early and keep your login details safe.
- Prepare your documents before you look for a date, so you can book as soon as one opens.
- Use only the official portal. VizaFiz never asks for your portal password.
3. Get alerts instead of refreshing
VizaFiz watches the portal page you already have open on your computer and alerts you on Telegram and email. You still book yourself.
4. Sleep without missing slot alerts
With quiet hours on, slot alerts still come through at night, but less urgent messages (portal-changed notices, reminders, the daily summary) wait until quiet hours end.
